Zaragoza are playing their 12th consecutive season in La Liga 2 since they suffered relegation in 2012/13 season. In recent seasons, they were not even close to securing promotion as they finished around the middle of the league's table. Midfielder Jaime Seoane suffered an injury against Ferrol and had to leave the field in the 17th minute. He missed the previous game with Granada because of it and will most likely remain sidelined. It is an unfortunate injury because he had a hamstring injury in late October and early November and has just fully recovered. With him potentially out, Kwasi Sibo could replace him in the starting lineup.
