Wolves will be looking to continue from where they stopped at King Power Stadium last weekend when they play host to Manchester United on Thursday.
Following a run of four consecutive defeats that saw Wolves concede an average of three goals per game, head coach Gary O'Neil became the latest Premier League manager to be sacked this season, a decision that paid dividends against Leicester City last time out. The Wanderers thrashed Leicester 3:0 under new boss Vítor Pereira and will be hoping to replicate that performance against United this week.
The Manchester United board have also had to sack a manager this season. Last season's FA Cup-winning manager, Erik ten Hag, was sacked in October but not much has changed since then. The Red Devils did impress against Manchester City at the Etihad over a week ago with a 2:1 comeback win thanks to Amad Diallo. They have since lost back-to-back games and conceded at least 3 goals in both of those encounters.
Wolves vs Manchester United Betting Tips: Under 3.5 goals
Both sides are struggling heavily defensively at the moment. The hosts boast just one clean sheet from their last six league games, Manchester United didn’t finish any of their last six matches without conceding.
However, meetings between Wolverhampton Wanderers and Manchester United are not known for being entertaining. Eleven of the last twelve meetings between the two sides ended with under 3.5 goals and I fancy a similar outcome on Thursday evening.

Manchester United team news
Ruben Amorim has not included Marcus Rashford in Manchester United’s squad for the last three league games and the English professional is a doubt for this game.
Mason Mount is ruled out following his injury against Manchester City over a week ago, while Daniel Gore is nursing a shoulder injury.
Amorim is expected to make changes to the side that was on the pitch from kick-off in the defeat to Bournemouth.
Rasmus Højlund – who has two Premier League goals to his name so far this season – is among those expected to return to the XI.

Three reasons we expect under 3.5 goals in this game
- Four of the last six meetings between Wolves and United produced just one goal.
- None of United’s eight away games in the league this season has produced more than 3 goals.
- Just two of the last seven home games of Wolves produced more than three goals.
Main prediction Wolverhampton Wanderers - Manchester United
Under 3.5 goals
