Vitória enters this match with a renewed sense of confidence after finally securing their first league victory of the season against Internacional last weekend. Sunday´s 2:1 win against Internacional was their first victory in 11 games played since April (D4, L7).
Despite their weekend win, Vitoria remain bottom of Serie A with only six points collected from nine games played. The hosts have struggled at the Estádio Manoel Barradas, losing four of their last five before the much-needed win against Internacional.
Atlético Mineiro comes into Thursday's Serie A contest looking to bounce back from a surprise 4:0 home defeat against Palmeiras. Despite their recent setback against Palmeiras, they have generally performed well this season, particularly in away matches.
Currently ninth in the division, but with a game in hand on the teams immediately above them in the Serie A standings, MG could close to within three points of league leaders Botafogo should they claim the spoils on Thursday.

BTTS is my top pick, while I also fancy a share of the spoils at the Estádio Manoel Barradas.
