Verona vs Fiorentina Betting Tips - Fiorentina to Win

Fiorentina will be looking for a return to winning form when they tackle relegation-threatened Verona this weekend. 

A mixed run of form has seen the Viola slip down to sixth in Serie A, with Raffaele Palladino´s side enduring a tough run of results since mid-December. Fiorentina failed to win seven successive fixtures in a month-long winning drought before three successive victories against Lazio, Genoa and most impressively, against Inter in January.

However, since appearing to turn the corner, the Viola have slipped to back-to-back defeats against Inter and Como. Despite those setbacks, the away side will be expected to claim victory against a Verona side that has struggled to find much form at Stadio Marc'Antonio Bentegodi.

Paulo Zanetti´s side comes into Sunday's Serie A fixture having lost eight and won only two of their last 11 home fixtures. Verona suffered defeats in five of their six most recent home fixtures. Worryingly, the hosts conceded 18 goals in those defeats. 

While Fiorentina have struggled to maintain consistency this season, they should be able to see-off a Verona side that has performed so poorly in home fixtures this season. Palladino´s side also claimed wins in four of their last five matches against Verona, and I´m banking on a similar outcome this weekend.
