Valencia will be looking to register what will be their second home win of the 2024-25 Spanish top flight campaign on Saturday evening when they host Real Betis.
Saturday's game will be Valencia's first since the draw with Getafe on the 27th of October. Los Che were due to face reigning champions Real Madrid before the international break but the game was postponed after the deadly Earthquake. Rubén Baraja's side go into Saturday's clash on a five-game winless run and with their recent record against Betis not good - winless in the last two - this winless streak looks set to continue.
Real Betis meanwhile are unbeaten since the 1-0 defeat to Sevilla on 1 October. The visitors have played six games since then, winning four and drawing three. Only two of those victories have come in La Liga, but with a point against Bilbao at San Mamés and a win over Atletico, they will be favourites going into Saturday's clash with Valencia.
Valencia vs Real Betis Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals
When it comes to meetings between Valencia and Real Betis in the Spanish top flight, at least one team almost always fails to find the back of the net. Bets on 'btts - yes' have won just once in the last eight meetings between the two sides, and only two of those encounters have produced more than two goals.
Moreover, Valencia have not had much fun in front of goal in recent weeks. Indeed, Los Che have failed to score in three of their last five La Liga games. The same number of games ended in draws and I expect a similar result this weekend.
- Best Tip: Under 2.5 goals

Valencia team news
Mouctar Diakhaby will be unavailable to Valencia head coach Rubén Baraja on Saturday due to an injury.
Diakhaby is nursing a knee injury that has kept him out since March and the right back isn’t the hosts’ only injury concern at the moment.
Rafa Mir and Hugo Duro are set to miss Saturday’s game due to hamstring and hip injuries, respectively.
Having already been booked four times this season, one yellow for Spanish professional Pepelu this weekend will result in a one match suspension.

Real Betis team news
Isco was seen back in training for the first time in over six months this week, but the trip to Mestalla will come too soon for the former Real Madrid midfielder.
Johnny Cardoso suffered a hamstring injury whilst playing for the United States during the international break and the midfielder is expected to be out for 2 to3 weeks.
Los Verdiblancos’ injury list also includes William Carvalho who is nursing an Achilles heel injury that has kept him out of the last 37 games.
