USA and Bolivia meet on Sunday evening and both teams will be looking to start the Copa America on a winning note.
The United States of America enter this game with plenty of confidence after beating Mexico in the Concacaf Nations League finals over three months ago. They have played two games since then, failing to win both and that’s something head coach Gregg Berhalter will be worried ahead of this weekend’s game.
Bolivia meanwhile have not had competitive action of football since November when they suffered a 3-0 defeat to Uruguay in a World Cup qualifier. Antônio Carlos Zago’s side enter this game with a run of three consecutive defeats, losing 1-0 to Mexico, 3-1 to Bolivia and most recently 3-0 to Colombia.
USA vs Bolivia Betting Tips: USA to win & over 2.5 goals
The United States may be without a win in two matches, but the quality of the team should not be underestimated. Beside that, the Stars and Stripes have a great record against Bolivia, having won the last two meetings between the two nations 7-0 on aggregate.
Bolivia have one of the worst records in the Copa America. La Verde lost each of their last ten games in the competition and shipped six goals in the last two alone. Considering that Antônio Carlos Zago’s also conceded three goals in each of their last two outings, it would be a surprise if we don’t see over 2.5 goals.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals
- USA vs Bolivia prediction: 3-1

Bolivia team news
César Menacho received a straight red card against Colombia last time out, but that won’t result in a suspension in the Copa America.
Midfielder Adalid Terrazas and goalkeeper Gustavo Almada are the only two uncapped players in the squad named by Antônio Carlos Zago, while Carlos Lampe is the most experienced player.
