Since arriving in the Bundesliga in 2019/20, Union Berling have gradually improved their results, even securing the Champions League by finishing 4th in the 2021/22 season. However, last season was a pure disaster as they finished 15th and stayed off the relegation playout just due to a better goal difference than Bochum. This year, they started the season well as they were undefeated in the first five games before finally losing to Borussia Monchengladbach in the last round. Right now, "The Iron Ones" are 9th with eight points in five rounds, just one point away from European spots. And reaching Europe will undoubtedly be their goal for the season.

Borussia Dortmund also had a terrible last season in the Bundesliga, at least by their standards, as they finished 5th. Even though we believe they are a better team overall, we do not trust their defense, and we are reluctant to bet on them to win away from home.
