Tromso vs Molde Betting Tips - Over 2.5 goals

Following a near-month long layoff, an entertaining contest seems likely at Aspmyra Stadion this weekend with both teams seeing plenty of high-scoring contests this season.

Hosts Tromso come into Friday's contest looking to bounce back from a disappointing 2:1 defeat to Lillestrom in their last runout nearly a month ago. Currently 14th in the division, the hosts find themselves narrowly outside of the relegation zone on goal difference only. 

High-scoring outcomes have been frequent occurrences for Tromso. Six of their last seven matches since the start of May saw over 2.5 goals scored while six of seven home league fixtures have also seen at least three goals netted.

Visiting Molde return to action looking to maintain their solid run of form which has seen them win three and lose just one of their last six Eliteserien matchups. Erling Moe´s men now sit fourth in the division, six points behind leaders Bodo/Glimt.

Like Tromso, high-scoring outcomes have also been regular features of Molde´s recent league matches. The visitors saw over 2.5 goals scored in each of their last seven Eliteserien contests and in six of eight away contests since October last year.

Previous encounters between these sides have also typically seen plenty of goal-scoring action. Eleven of their previou 13 matchups since 2017 saw at least three goals scored including Tromso´s 4:1 win their most recent meeting earlier this season.

Given those numbers, both in recent matches and past contests, a high-scoring occasion seems likely. I´m backing over 2.5 goals scored with the expectation that both teams will net in a little entertaining fixture at Aspmyra Stadion.
