Toulouse gradually improved their results in Ligue 1 since gaining promotion in the 2021/22 season. After finishing 13th and 11th in the previous two seasons, Les Violets are sitting in 8th place right now. However, reaching Europe will not be an easy task, considering they are six points away from sixth place. But reaching Europe was hardly the goal before the start of the season, and we believe they have every reason to be satisfied with how this season is going.
Monaco have been among the top three teams in Ligue 1 and have secured the CL Group (League) phase in three of the last four seasons. This year, they had their ups and downs but are sitting in 4th place with 43 points - three points away from the desired third place. In the CL, Monaco reached the 1/16 FInals, where Benfica eventually eliminated them on a 4:3 aggregate. Since they were earlier eliminated from the Coupe de France as well, the Red and Whites can focus only on Ligue 1.
Toulouse vs Monaco pick: Over 2.5 goals
Toulouse just won back-to-back games against Angers and Le Havre while scoring eight goals in total! Yes, those are not the teams at Monaco's level, but it was still a very good performance. So, we believe they are capable of scoring at least once against Monaco, which haven't had a clean sheet in the last eight road games.
Monaco have been fantastic for this bet and, along with PSG, had the most games with three or more goals in Ligue 1. We saw three or more goals in 17 out of 24 games - 71%. Lately, that number has been even higher, as they were over 2.5 goals in eight out of the last nine matches - 89%.
In the previous four h2h games, we saw three or more goals on three occasions. Considering the trend in the previous h2h games and all the above, we expect a high-scoring game, most likely with both teams scoring.

Toulouse team news
The newest name on the injury list is Zakaria Aboukhlal, who missed the previous game against Angers. His injury is a big blow for the team since he has scored seven and assisted two in 24 appearances, making him by far the best offensive player on the team.
Besides Zakaria Aboukhlal, four players who missed the previous games should remain sidelined - Joshua King, Rasmus Nicolaisen, Guillaume Restes, and Niklas Schmidt.

Monaco team news
In the previous game against Reims, Mika Biereth suffered an injury and had to leave around ten minutes before the end of the game. However, it seems the injury isn't too serious, and we might see him back in the starting lineup.
Folarin Balogun, Aleksandr Golovin, Jordan Teze, and Soungoutou Magassa, who missed the previous games with injuries, should remain sidelined for the Toulouse game.
