Two sides in contrasting form square-off in London this weekend as Tottenham - winless in five of their last six matches - takes on a Chelsea side searching for their fifth successive victory.

Tottenham return to home comforts after a disappointing 1:0 road loss at Bournemouth on Thursday. A poor performance saw the Lilywhites fall to a well-deserved defeat on the south coast.

In what has been a typically “Spursy” season for Ange Postecoglu´s side, the hosts come into this match with just one win in six matches. Of course, that win was a staggering 4:0 success at champions Man City.

While usually strong in home matches, recent performances at the TH Stadium have been less than inspired. Spurs failed to win their last three home matches including a 2:1 defeat to Ipswich and a 1:1 draw against Fulham.

Clean sheets have been the biggest issue for Ange Postecoglou´s men. Remarkably, Tottenham conceded at least one goal in 20 of their last 22 home EPL matches. BTTS occurred in 19 of those matches.

In contrast, Chelsea come into Sunday's London derby in high spirits after maintaining their fantastic recent form with a commanding 5:1 win at Southampton earlier this week. Enzo Maresca´s improving side have now won seven and lost just one of their last ten matches across all competitions.

Free-flowing in the forward positions, the Blues have bagged 21 goals in their six most recent matches including a thumping 8:0 win against Noah in the Conference League. Domestically, Chelsea have been just as impressive with only one of their last 13 EPL games ending in defeat.

While Maresca´s side are in a much better place, form usually goes out of the window on derby day and we can expect another thrilling, end-to-end encounter on Sunday. 

Chelsea won 4:1 on their last visit to this venue, and another high-scoring outcome has to be expected. BTTS is my top choice, while I also expect the Blues to score at least two goals.
