Torino are playing its 13th consecutive season in Serie A, where they were mostly in the middle of the league's table. Even though it is still early to judge, the popular "Il Toro" are once again looking like a mid-table team, as they are in 11th place with 15 points in 13 rounds. To be fair, they are much closer to the relegation zone than the European spots, but we do not think they will get involved in a relegation battle. Another mid-table finish looks like the most realistic scenario.

Napoli had an interesting couple of seasons behind them. From winning their third Scudetto in 2022/23 to finishing 10th and failing to secure Europe in the previous season. This season, "Gli Azzurri" are looking great once again and are at the top of Serie A with 29 points in 13 rounds. Still, they are only one point away from the four other teams (Atalanta, Inter, Fiorentina, and Lazio), and they will have to continue winning points in order to stay at the top.

Torino vs Napoli pick: Under 2.5 goals

Torino are in terrible form, winning just one point in the last four matches. During that period, they scored just one goal. To be fair, they had a tough schedule, but this game against Napoli will not be any easier, and even scoring a goal will be a challenge.

Napoli are the best defensive team in the league, with just nine conceded goals in 13 rounds - a little under 0.7 goals per game. Also, offensively, they have been much better at home than on the road, as they average 1.33 goals away from home, compared to 1.71 at Stadio Diego Armando Maradona.

Also, lately, both teams have played mostly low-scoring games. While Torino were under 2.5 goals in five consecutive games, Napoli were under 2.5 goals in five out of the last six matches.

Considering all the above, an under 2.5 goals bet seems like the best option for this Serie A tie.
