Stoke will look to get back on the winning saddle when they host Hull in a Championship contest on Friday evening.

Stoke vs Hull Betting Tips - Stoke to Win

A return to winning form will be on the Stoke agenda as they face a Hull side that have now failed to win any of their last 14 matches (including friendlies) since April.

Indeed, Hull come into this contest still searching for their first victory of the campaign, with no wins recorded in seven Championship contests over the past five months.

A poor year has seen the Tigers pick up just three wins in 18 previous league contests, with no wins from five league games played under new boss Tim Walter.

Short in attacking firepower, Hull scored just two goals in their five winless league matches, with one of those an own-goal in their opening day of the season draw against Bristol City.

Stoke have enjoyed a better start to their season, although the hosts have struggled to reach a consistent standard of performance, which has now seen head coach Stephen Schumacher removed from his role.

The Potters won three but lost three of their last six matches, with an impressive 5:0 win against Middlesbrough in the League Cup the high point of their season thus far. Despite that victory, the hosts will now be guided by an interim management team including former player Ryan Shawcross this weekend.

Stoke have enjoyed the better of recent meetings between these sides, with victories scored in five  of their last seven encounters since 2020.

While by no means a banker selection given the current uncertainty at the club, I fancy managerless Stoke to claim the points on Friday evening.
