The Olympiastadion Berlin is the host for a showpiece occasion on Sunday as Spain and England battle it out for the European Championship crown.

Spain vs England Betting Tips: BTTS / Draw

England are back in the European Championship final for the second tournament running, aiming to finally end their 58-year trophy drought.

Gareth Southgate's men secured their place in this weekend's final after again coming from behind, this time against the Dutch, before a 90th-minute winner from Ollie Watkins. However, they face a tough challenge in the final against Spain, the tournament's top scorers.

La Roja secured their place in the final with a thrilling 2-1 comeback victory against pre-tournament favourites France. Despite conceding early, Luis de la Fuente's side roared back with a wonder strike from 16-year-old Lamine Yamal setting them on their way to a well-deserved victory in Munich.

Victors in each of their last matches, while unbeaten in 17 of their last 18, Spain are now the deserved favourites in Sunday's final.

Indeed, De la Fuente´s side have been the most impressive team at these finals, however it would be foolish to dismiss the English challenge. While far from fluent in much of their performances, Southgate´s side have found a way to win.

After a much-improved display against the Dutch, England will now fancy their chances of claiming a first-ever European Championship crown. The Three Lions are unbeaten in 18 of their last 20 matches.

In what should prove a fascinating contest, I´m confident both teams will net in Berlin. Both nations saw BTTS in all three knockout contests at this competition, while each of their three previous meetings also saw both teams scoring.

With all in the line, a high-scoring contest seems unlikely, but I do feel both teams will score, with a 1-1 draw my expected outcome.

Both teams have plenty of reason to be optimistic of claiming the ultimate prize, however I expect this final to go the distance, with the dreaded shootout potentially required to find a winner.

England team news

England boss Southgate has no fresh injury or suspension issues to deal with for Sunday's final in Berlin. Olly Watkins is unlikely to earn a start, despite his match-winning heroics in Wednesday´s semi-final win against Netherlands.

Luke Shaw is expected to earn a start at left-wing-back after making a 45-minute appearance against the Dutch.
