On Tuesday evening, one of the weakest teams in the Champions League, Slovan Bratislava, will welcome one of Europe's juggernauts, AC Milan, at Tehelné pole in Bratislava.
Slovan Bratislava have been dominant in Slovakia, winning the last six league titles in a row. And this season, they are once again looking like the best team in the country, currently sitting in 1st place with a one-point advantage over Zilina, but with one game played less. However, that good display in the domestic competition did not transfer to the Champions League, as they lost all four games, and if they fail to win this game against AC Milan, reaching the next stage of the competition would be an impossible task.
AC Milan came to this season after a mediocre one last year. They finished second in the Serie A but 19 points away from their city-rival, Inter. This year, Rossoneri are struggling in the Serie A, as they are in 7th place with 19 points from 12 rounds - already nine points away from the top spot, although with a game played less. And in the Champions League, they opened the season with two losses but eventually won the next two matches. Now, they are in 20th place, and they desperately need this win over the last-placed team in the CL.

While Slovan Bratislava are doing fine in the domestic league, it is evident they are simply unable to compete in the Champions League. They lost all four games and every time by two or more goals, even losing to teams much weaker than AC Milan, like Dinamo Zagreb (4:1).
Meanwhile, AC Milan are in a solid form. They lost just against Napoli in the last seven games, even securing an incredible 3:1 win over Real Madrid away from home.
Simply, the difference in quality is too great, and considering that AC Milan have a much bigger motive, we expect an easy win for Rossoneri.

After a 1:1 draw against Kosice, coach Vladimir Weiss spoke to the media. He said it was an excellent match for both teams. The coach noted they had their chances but that a draw was probably a fair result. "I am happy for the point, as well as for the performance because the team pushed to the end," the coach added.
One of the team's key defenders, Guram Kashia, will be unavailable after collecting a third yellow card in the previous game. Additionally, due to injuries, Adler and Sharani Zuberu should remain sidelined.

Álvaro Morata received his third yellow card in the Champions League in the previous game against Real Madrid and will serve a one-game suspension. With him suspended and Luka Jovic injured, Tammy Abraham will most likely start up front.
