Slavia Prague vs AC Milan prediction 14.03.2024

AC Milan did a massive job in the first leg in Italy as they won 4:2. However, Rossoneri have had a big help because the Czech team received a red card early in the game. Even though the bookies heavily favor AC Milan to advance to the Quarter Finals with the odds of only 1.05-1.08, the second leg will surely be much more challenging since Slavia are great at Fortuna Arena in Prague. 

AC Milan are playing a fairly solid season, but their only chance to win the title this season is through the Europa League. Atalanta knocked them out of the Coppa Italia and are 2nd in the Serie A with a 16-point deficit over the city rival, Inter. 

In recent years, Slavia Prague have been either the best or the second-best team in the Czech Republic. This season, they are second with 59 points, only one point behind the league's leader, Sparta Prague. In the Europa League's group phase, Slavia has been fantastic, finishing first in the group - in front of AS Roma, Servette, and Sheriff Tiraspol.

In the first leg, AC Milan won 4:2. Both teams showed massive problems defending set pieces, as four goals came after free kicks and corners. That is a massive plus for this type of bet because the teams cannot fix those flaws overnight. 

Throughout the season, Slavia have been impressive at home, winning 83% of their games in all competitions while scoring 2.7 goals per game. Since they already scored two vs AC Milan with ten players, we believe they could score at least once or twice at their stadium. 

Lately, AC Milan played almost exclusively high-scoring games away from home, as we saw three or more goals in 11 of the last 12 games. Also, AC Milan were over 2.5 goals in seven of nine European games - 78%. 

Considering the previous h2h game, Slavia's excellent offensive displays at home, and Rossoneri's high-scoring games away from home, we expect a game with at least three goals, most likely with both teams scoring.
