This season, they are once again underperforming as they are holding 12th place with 18 points in 14 rounds, which is only 0.2 ppg more than last season's. Still, looking at their squad, we believe they are much better than the league's table currently shows. Right now, they are much closer to the European spots as the 6th-placed Osasuna are four points away. However, they have been too inconsistent and will have to take some chances to achieve consistency.

Osasuna are playing their sixth consecutive season in La Liga, where they were mostly a mid-table team. This season, the team from Pamplona are playing really well and are currently in the 6th place with 22 points in 14 rounds. They are currently in the European spots, and securing Europe will definitely be a success for them. However, right now, even the Champions League isn't far, as they are only one win away from it, although they played one game more than 4th-placed Villarreal.
