A competitive Champions League clash takes place at Estadio Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán on Tuesday as Europa League champions Sevilla host Arsenal. 

Sevilla vs Arsenal Betting Tips: BTTS / Over 2.5 goals

Tuesday´s battle between Sevilla and Arsenal could prove one of the matches of the night with plenty of goalscoring chances expected. 

Indeed, for goal chasers, this fixture looks like an ideal choice with BTTS an obvious selection considering both teams' previous numbers in this competition.

Arsenal arrive in Spain having seen BTTS in eight of their last nine away UCL matches since 2015 including a shock 2:1 loss at Lens in September. The Gunners also saw BTTS after a fight-back 2:2 draw at Chelsea this past weekend.

Sevilla have also posted consistent numbers both recently and in past Champions League fixtures. The hosts have seen BTTS in four of their last five matches and in five of their last six UCL contests since 2022. The Andalusians have also seen both teams score in seven of their last eight home matches including a 1:1 draw with Real Madrid this past weekend.

The Spaniards claimed a famous 3:1 win when these sides last met in this competition in 2007, and while I´m not convinced they´ll score a repeat victory, I do expect BTTS as was the case some 16 years ago.

The Gunners might well have the quality to return home with a vital win this time, but I´m taking BTTS as my primary pick, with over 2.5 goals scored also expected in Spain.
