Two sides separated by seven places in Football League Two after 28 games face off on Tuesday night as Salford City play host to Bromley.

Salford City couldn't have started 2025 any better after beating Harrogate Town and MK Dons 3-0 in their opening two games of the calendar year. The Ammies then lost three successive games, including a humiliating 8-0 defeat at the hands of Man City in the FA Cup third round, but their last two matches have been much better. Karl Robinson's side drew each of their last two games to remain in the top half of the table and will be eager for a win on Tuesday.

Bromley meanwhile are just five points adrift of the bottom six. The Lillywhites go into Tuesday's clash on the back of a six-game winless run and conceded 3+ goals in half of those games. Having also failed to find the back of the net in their last two outings, it will be a surprise if Andy Woodman's side beat Salford on Tuesday.

Salford City vs Bromley Betting Tips: Salford City to win

Tuesday's game will be the first meeting between the two sides since the 30th March 2019. Salford City won that game 2-1 and also won the previous meeting between the two sides 2-0.

History aside, the hosts have performed reasonably well at the Peninsula Stadium this season. Karl Robinson's men lost just one of their last eight home games and with eight victories in that time, a home win in this fixture looks likely.

Bromley team news

Bromley head coach Andy Woodman is expected to make wholesale changes to the side that was on the pitch from kick-off in the 2-0 defeat to Grimsby Town at home last time out.

Having featured as substitute’s in that game, midfielders Cameron Congreve and Lewis Leigh are among those who could benefit from this reshuffle.
