Ligue 1 returns to the Stade Geoffroy-Guichard on Saturday afternoon as Saint-Etienne takes on Brest.

Saint-Etienne vs Brest Betting Tips - Brest to Win

Saint-Étienne comes into Saturday's Ligue 1 contest still fighting for their Ligue 1 futures despite a miserable run of form in the past couple of months.

Eirik Horneland's side have slipped to defeat in both of their last two league fixtures, including last weekend's 1:0 defeat at Lens. Now 17th in the division, four points short of safety, the threat of relegation has continued to grow with the hosts losing six of their last nine Ligue 1 games.

Out-of-form at Stade Geoffroy-Guichard, Les Verts lost three of their last four home fixtures, and they could struggle against a Brest side that seem to be regaining the form that led them to Champions League qualification last season.

Eric Roy´s side have risen to eighth in the division after picking up ten points from their last four Ligue 1 games. A solid road record has seen Brest win four and lose just one of their last seven league fixtures, and they look well-placed to continue their winning form against a short-in-confidence home side.

Les Pirates have also had the better of more recent contests, picking up victories in all but one of their six most recent encounters, including a commanding 4:0 win earlier this season.

Considering these factors, an away win should prove the best bet for Saturday´s Ligue 1 clash.
