Chances are likely to be in short supply when Real Valladolid take on Osasuna on Sunday afternoon. 

Now staring relegation in the face, Valladolid return to action now winless in 12 La Liga games after a 4:2 defeat at Atletico Madrid last weekend. A dismal run of form has seen Álvaro Rubio's side pick up just one point since a 1:0 win against Betis in January.

Rooted to the bottom of the table with just 16 points on the board, Los Pucelanos find themselves 13 points short of safety with just seven games to play.

A lack of attacking firepower has been a huge issue for Valladolid at the Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla in recent weeks. Rubio's men failed to score in four of their last five home games, all of which ended in defeat.

On the road, goals and wins have been in short supply for Osasuna. The visitors failed to win any of their last ten away La Liga games, scoring just four goals during that period. Despite their lack of recent victories, Los Rojillos find themselves 12th in the division, nine points clear of the drop zone. 

Considering, and both sides inability to score in respective home and away fixtures, I expect a low-scoring outcome again this weekend.

Under 2.5 goals is my best bet at the Estadio Municipal José Zorrilla.
