One week to the Champions League finals, Real Madrid host Real Betis in their final game of the 2023-24 La Liga campaign and will be hoping to maintain their home winning streak.
Real Madrid were knocked out of the Copa del Rey by Athletic Club four days after they beat Barcelona to win the Spanish Super Cup but Los Blancos have been unstoppable since then. Carlo Ancelotti’s men eliminated the likes of RB Leipzig, Manchester City and Bayern Munich en route to the Champions League final and were already crowned La Liga champions more than a week ago. Nevertheless, they will still be looking to beat Betis this weekend and extend their winning streak at home to four games.
Real Betis don’t have anything left to play for in La Liga this season. The visitors secured a seventh place finish despite the defeat to Sociedad last weekend and will remain in the same position no matter what happens in the Spanish capital on Saturday night. Los Verdiblancos are winless in their last two games, but their recent travels have been fruitful as they won each of the last three.
Real Madrid vs Real Betis Betting Tips: Under 3.5 goals
The recent league games of Real Madrid have been very entertaining, with each of the last three producing four goals or more, but I don’t expect that run to continue this weekend.
Los Blancos scored more than once in only one of their last six meetings with Real Betis in the Spanish top flight. Six of those games ended with under three goals, and I expect a similar outcome when the two sides lock horns again this weekend.
- Best Tip: Under 3.5 goals
- Real Madrid vs Real Betis prediction: 3-0

Real Madrid team news
Jude Bellingham, Vinicius Junior and Toni Kroos played no part in the dramatic 4-4 draw with Villarreal last time out, but Carlo Ancelotti is likely to give them some minutes here.
David Alaba and Aurélien Tchouaméni have been struggling with injuries, and Saturday’s game is expected to come too soon for the pair.

Real Betis team news
Isco has struggled with injuries this season, and the midfielder won’t recover from a broken fibula in time to face his former team.
Mikel Oyarzabal and Sheraldo Becker who have eleven goals between them this season are expected to reunite in the final third, while Jon Pacheco and Aritz Elustondo will form the centre back pair.
