An intriguing and likely entertaining friendly can be expected in Edinburgh as Rangers travel from Glasgow to take on their Manchester visitors. 

United kicked-off their summer warm-up fixtures with a 1:0 loss against Rosenborg on Monday and the Red Devils will be keen to get a more positive result against a Rangers side very much in transition under Phillipe Clement.

In an expected summer of change at Ibrox, the Rangers rebuild has been slow to take hold with  only one new face on show in the Gers 2:1 defeat against Ajax last weekend. 

Usually involved in high-scoring matches, Rangers have seen BTTS and over 2.5 goals in nine of their last 12 matches. A difficult end to last season saw the Gers win just five of their final 11 games of the campaign. 

Man United are a similarly entertaining side with a large majority of fixtures seeing at least three goals netted. Eri Ten Haag´s team saw over 2.5 goals netted in eight of their last 12 games played since the start of April.

With a large crowd expected for a battle between Scottish and English rivals, a competitive and entertaining matchup is expected in Edinburgh.

I´m backing BTTS and over 2.5 goals scored, with Man Utd´s superior quality likely to see them over the line against a Gers side that may struggle away from their Ibrox home.
