Since suffering relegation from the Premier League a decade ago, QPR have mostly been in the middle or lower part of the league's table. In the last two, they finished only five and six away from the danger zone. This season, they are doing a better job, considering they sit in 14th place with 38 points from 30 matches. However, they are six points away from the playoffs, and reaching the top six spots seems a bit unrealistic.
Blackburn had a terrible last season, finishing 19th. Since everyone expected them to be among the teams to battle for promotion, it was a massive failure. This season, they returned to where they wanted to be, as they are in fifth place with 45 points from 30 matches. Still, they lost three of the last four and have big reasons for concern.
QPR vs Blackburn pick: QPR to (AH0) win
QPR lost back-to-back games against Millwall and Sheffield Wednesday, but they did well in those matches and deserved a lot more. Before those two losses, QPR was on a nice run, winning four in a row (in the Championship). Also, QPR did very well at home, winning five of the last six.
Blackburn stopped their three-game losing streak with a 2:1 win over Preston in the last match. Lately, they struggled away from home, failing to win over the previous four road league games. During that time, they only scored two goals - 0.5 per game!
Considering all the above, we expect a really close match, but we believe the hosts are closer to winning the upcoming game.

QPR team news
On 29th January, the club added Min-hyeok Yang on a loan deal from Tottenham. The 18-year-old winger got some playing time in his first game. We do not expect him in the starting lineup, but he will most likely be a valuable part of the rotation.
Karamoko Dembele, Zan Celar, and Lucas Andersen, who missed the previous games with injuries, should remain sidelined.
