PSG return to Ligue 1 action when they host Monaco at the Parc des Princes on Friday evening.

PSG vs Monaco Betting Tips: PSG Win / Over 2.5 Goals

Paris Saint-Germain and Monaco will meet for the third time in six weeks as they face off at the Parc des Princes.

PSG are in complete control at the top of Ligue 1, having thrashed Brest 5:2 last weekend to maintain their unbeaten domestic record. Luis Enrique’s side have now picked up 50 points in 20 games. They remain ten points clear of Marseille, and with 12 wins in their last 13 matches, look set for yet another Ligue 1 title.

Dominant on their own patch, the Parisiens lost only 15 home games played this season, while they picked up victories in four of their last five in front of their own fans.

Usually a reliable choice for goal chasers, PSG fans saw a minimum of three goals scored in ten of their last 13 Ligue 1 games played in Paris.

Monaco makes the trip to Paris after picking up back-to-back high-scoring home wins against Rennes (3:2) and Auxerre (4:2) respectively.

While buoyed by those wins, Les Rouge et Blanc have struggled against top-five opposition this season, though, picking up just one point from four encounters with Lille, Nice, Marseille, and PSG. They also come into this match with a poor road record, failing to win any of their last four away league matches - their worst run in over five years.

Monaco’s leaky defense has also helped deliver plenty of high-scoring games, with over 2.5 goals landing in seven of their last eight away fixtures.

Given PSG’s firepower and Monaco’s recent away struggles, I expect a high-scoring home win on Friday.
