On Wednesday evening, two European giants, PSG and Manchester City, will face off against each other in the seventh round of the Champions League at Parc des Princes in Paris.

PSG have dominated the domestic competition in recent years, but their goal of securing the Champions League trophy is still unreachable. This season is no surprise they again dominate French Ligue 1 as they already have a nine-point advantage over the second-placed Marseille. But, in the CL, they haven't been great, far from it. They sit in 25th place with just seven points in six rounds. Right now, they are one point away from moving to the 1/16 Finals, but they will face MC and Stuttgart in the remaining two games.

Manchester City are playing a terrible season, the worst one in the last seven seasons. They had a terrible two-month period in November and December, where they secured one win in 13 games! Now they are 4th in the Premier League - 12 points behind the league's leader, Liverpool. And in the CL, they are in a tricky situation as they are in 22nd place, just one point away from dropping out of the 1/16 Finals spots.

PSG vs Manchester City pick: Over 2.5 goals

PSG are in excellent form, winning eight games in a row (one after the penalties). They have been super efficient during that run, scoring 20 goals - 2.5 per game. So, we expect they will do well even against MC at Parc des Princes.

It seems that Manchester City overcame most of their problems as they have been undefeated in the last six games while winning four of them. They have been excellent offensively, scoring 23 goals - 3.83 per game. Due to a good offense, they were over 2.5 goals in four of those six games (67%).

Considering both teams' fantastic offensive displays in recent games, we expect a high-scoring game, most likely with both teams scoring.
