It will be first vs fifth in the French top flight when Paris Saint Germain and Olympique Lyon go head to head on Sunday night at Parc des Princes.

PSG have had very little problems in Ligue 1 since the departure of their talisman Kylian Mbappé at the end of last season. The Blues began their league campaign with four straight wins and scored 16 goals whilst conceding just three. The Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich at the end of last month left Luis Enrique's men reeling as they failed to win back to back league games after that. However, they responded by beating RB Salzburg in midweek and will be hoping for a similar display this weekend.

Lyon meanwhile rather had a slow start to the campaign, picking up just one win from their opening five Ligue 1 fixtures but a lot has changed since then. Les Gones are unbeaten in their last nine games across all competitions and travel to Parc des Princes this weekend with a run of four consecutive wins.

PSG vs Lyon Betting Tips: Both teams to score

While Paris Saint Germain have not had problems scoring goals this season expecially in Ligue, they are don’t have the best defence and I think that is a weakness Lyon will take advantage of. Indeed, PSG finished just two of their last seven home games without conceding and both teams scored in all but one of those encounters.

Lyon just can’t stop scoring at the moment, with the visitors boasting at least two goals from each of their last four matches. All but one of those encounters produced four or more goals.
