Millwall will be looking to win back to back games for the first time since November when they face Portsmouth away from home on Tuesday night away from home.

The hosts travelled to West Brom on Saturday afternoon hoping to make it three wins on the bounce after beating Middlesbrough and Stoke City in their previous two games. John Mousinho's side were stunned to find themselves four goals down at the interval. Things got worse in the second half as Pompey conceded a fifth goal and scored just once. Portsmouth remain in the bottom four after that defeat but just goal difference separate them from the two sides above them.

Millwall, meanwhile, ended a seven-game winless run in the Championship with a 1-0 victory over Luton Town last time out. It was a narrow victory but a much-needed one as the Lions had gone six games without a win against Luton. Having also won each of their last two visits to Fratton Park, they will fancy their chances of another win on Tuesday night.

Portsmouth vs Millwall Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals

Both sides are struggling defensively at the moment with the hosts without clean sheet in their last six matches, while Millwall finished just one of their last five league games without conceding.

Including the five goals against West Brom last time out, Portsmouth have now conceded a total of ten goals in their last four games alone and all four games produced 3+ goals.

  • Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals
  • Portsmouth vs Millwall prediction: 2-2

Millwall team news

Millwall head coach Alex Neil is expected to make many changes to the side that beat Luton Town 1-0 at Kenilworth Road on Saturday afternoon.

But having been withdrawn before full-time due to injuries in that game, Goalkeeper Lukas Jensen and midfielder Calum Scanlon could miss Tuesday’s trip to Portsmouth.
