A competitive and potentially entertaining clash can be expected on Saturday with Poland usually proving a tough side to beat on their own patch. 

The Poles kicked-off their Nations League game campaign in September with a somewhat fortuitous 3:2 win in Scotland before a narrow 1:0 road loss in Croatia. 

Competing in League A, Group 1, Michal Probierz´s side will feel confident of their chances with the hosts in possession of a strong record in Poland. Since a 2:0 home defeat against Netherlands in this competition two years ago, the Poles have remained unbeaten in each of their last ten fixtures on home soil. 

Picking up four successive victories in Poland over the past year, including friendly victories against Turkey and Ukraine, suggests Probeierz´s side are capable of troubling the highly-rated Portuguese this weekend. An in-form Robert Lewandowski should also aid the Polish cause on Saturday.

Portugal make the trip to Warsaw after claiming a late victory against Scotland in their most recent contest in September. Cristiano Ronaldo´s 901st career goal secured a hard-fought victory for Roberto Martinez´s side. 

Having seen-off Croatia with a 2:1 win three days earlier, Portugal now sit at the top of League A, Group 1. 

Under the Spanish boss, Portugal do operate with an expansive and attack-minded approach, and that should yield plenty of chances at both ends this weekend. 

I expect BTTS, with Portugal perhaps having enough quality to edge their way to a narrow victory.
