Runaway leaders Birmingham City will be looking to keep alive their hopes of breaking the 100 points barrier when they face Peterborough United away from home on Tuesday.
The visitors' run of 13 consecutive Championship campaigns came to an end last season when they finished 22nd with just 13 wins. Chris Davies' men were expected to respond this season and they have done so in style as they sit top of the table, eleven points clear of second-placed Wrexham. They continued their impressive campaign with a 6-2 win over Barnsley last time out, a result to that extended their winning streak to three matches.
Peterborough United meanwhile had the opportunity to record consecutive home wins for the first time since October last year when they hosted Northampton Town on Saturday afternoon. The Posh found themselves behind after just 15 minutes and things got worse 17 minutes later when Tayo Edun was shown a straight red card. Peterborough United went on to concede three more goals without responding and will be looking to bounce back on Tuesday.
Peterborough vs Birmingham City Betting Tips: Over 2.5 goals
One of Peterborough's main issues over the last few weeks has been their defence. The Posh failed to keep a clean sheet in each of their last three outings and conceded at least three goals in as many games.
Birmingham have also struggled to keep clean sheets over the last few weeks and didn't finish any of their last five league games without conceding. Each of the last three all ended with over 2.5 goals scored.
The last meeting between these two sides in April ended in a goalless draw, but the three previous fixtures were very entertaining, with bets on over 3.5 goals winning in as many games.
- Best Tip: Over 2.5 goals
- Peterborough vs Birmingham City prediction: 1-3

Birmingham City team news
Given the result and scoreline against Barnsley last time out, head coach Chris Davies is expected to name the majority of his starting XI.
But after coming off the bench to score twice in that game, Alfie May will be hoping for a place in the XI against Peterborough.
Left-back Lee Buchanan and midfielder Seung-ho Paik will miss the trip to the ABAX Stadium through injury.
