A tight contest is expected on Monday as Paysandu protects their unbeaten record at Estádio Leônidas Sodré de Castro.

Since their return to Serie B following a six-year absence, Hélio dos Anjos´s side have remained unbeaten in eight home matches (W3, D5). An average of less than two goals were scored in those matches. 

While Paysandu slipped to a 1:0 defeat at Brusque in their most recent league contest, the hosts had enjoyed an excellent seven-game unbeaten run prior to Thursday's away defeat. Despite sitting 13th in the division, the home side find themselves only four points behind their opponents on Monday. 

Novorizontino make the trip to Para also in good form, having remained unbeaten in their last seven league matches. On the road, Eduardo Baptista´s side have lost just one of their last six matches, while only six goals were scored in those contests.

With both teams finding good form in recent weeks, and seeing largely low-scoring contests, a tight affair seems inevitable on Monday. 

In a battle between two sides facing each other for the first time in their history, I expect few chances, with less than three goals on the cards.

Under 2.5 goals is my top tip at Estádio Leônidas Sodré de Castro, while I also fancy this Serie B contest to finish deadlocked.
