Both teams come into Friday's Serie A contest looking to bounce back from defeat against Milanese opponents last weekend. 

Hosts Parma will be licking their wounds after a dramatic 3:2 defeat at Milan on Monday evening. Despite taking a 2:1 lead into stoppage time, goals from Tijani Reijnders and Samuel Chukwueze, secured an unlikely win for the Rossoneri. 

Fabio Pecchia´s side have suffered a tough run of results, losing five while winning only one of their last eight Serie A matches. While inconsistent and an unreliable choice in the WDW market, the home side have seen both teams scoring in 10 of their last 11 matches at the Stadio Ennio Tardini. 

Lecce suffered a more painful defeat in their most recent outing with Inter easing to a 4:0 win at the Stadio Ettore Giardiniero - Via del Mare on Sunday. A poor run of results has seen Marco Giampaolo´s side lose four while winning only one of their last six Serie A matches.

While not quite as consistent as Parma in the goal markets, Lecce have seen both teams scoring in three of their last four road fixtures.

Recent meetings between these relegation rivals - positioned 16th and 15th in Serie A respectively - have also proven high-scoring. Parma claimed a 2:2 draw in their most recent contest earlier this season, while also edging to a 4:2 Coppa Italia victory in 2023. 

Given their respective positions, both teams will see this fixture as a winnable one, and that should lead to an open contest. With that in mind, I'm putting my faith in both teams scoring on Friday.
