The Stadio Toumbas  plays host to a Greek Cup clash on Wednesday evening as PAOK Thessaloniki takes on rivals AEK Athens in the second leg of their quarter-final contest.

A high-quality Greek Cup clash takes place later this week with PAOK and AEK battling it out for a place in the semi-finals. 

Trailing 2:1 from the first leg, an open contest should be expected between two sides who will fancy their chances of securing progression to the final four. 

PAOK return to Thessaloníki after a heartbreaking 2:1 defeat against Panathinaikos on Sunday. Despite taking 2nd minute lead in Athens, Răzvan Lucescu´s men suffered their first away defeat of the season after being reduced to ten men in the second half, with Azzedine Ounahi´s stoppage goal securing a 2:1 win for the home side.

The hosts had enjoyed a fine run of form in away matches, with four successive victories achieved prior to Sunday's setback. 

After a dreadful run of form in home matches which had seen them fail to win any of seven games played at Stadio Toumbas between September and December, PAOK have bounced back in recent weeks. Lucescu´s side won their last three home fixtures with a whopping 17 goals scored in the process.

AEK come into Thursday's cup clash in fine form having extended their unbeaten run to seven matches with a 4:2 win at Volos NFC on Sunday. Matías Almeyda´s side have lost just one of their last 11 games, while they are unbeaten in each of their last four away fixtures.

On the road, four of AEK´s last five away fixtures saw BTTS and with both teams finding form, a similar outcome seems likely. Four of their five most recent encounters also saw BTTS, and I´m banking on a repeat this Thursday.

BTTS is my only choice at Stadio Toumbas.
