A competitive and evenly-matched contest seems likely when two of the division's stronger sides go head-to-head at Stade de la Source. Coming into the contest placed 5th and 4th respectively, both teams have proven tough to beat in the early stages of the National 1 campaign. 

Seven games into the season, hosts Orleans extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a 1:1 draw against Dijon on Friday. Hervé Della Maggiore´side have now drawn each of their last three league fixtures, having begun their season with three wins from their first four fixtures.

Goals at both ends have been frequent occurrences for Orleans, both this season and in home fixtures this year. Five of their seven games played in National 1 saw BTTS while six of their last seven games at Stade de la Source also saw both teams score.

Visiting Valenciennes make the trip to Orléans still unbeaten after seven games played in National 1. Sitting one point ahead of the home side, Ahmed Kantari´s men have been held to score draws in each of their last four league fixtures, including a 2:2 draw against Villefranche last Friday. 

Like the hosts, BTTS has been frequent for Kantari´s side. Valenciennes saw both teams score in each of their last five matches, including both of their last two away fixtures.

With little to choose between these, and with both having seen so many draws in recent fixtures, another share of the spoils with BTTS looks a great value bet on Wednesday.

Both teams to score is the safer play, but a draw could prove the best bet at Stade de la Source.
