- Venue: City Ground (Nottingham)
Since their return to the English top-flight division in the 2022/23 season, Nottingham has been close to dropping to the Championship, finishing 16th and 17th. But this season, they have been absolutely great, as they are in fourth place after 17 rounds. Incredibly, they are above teams like Manchester City, Aston Villa, Tottenham, Newcastle, etc... Even though everyone expected them to slow down, that is not happening, at least not yet.
On the other hand, Tottenham are playing one of their worst seasons in a very long time. The Spurs are in 11th place with only 23 points in 17 rounds - eight points away from Nottingham and the Champions League spots. To be fair, the Spurs are doing OK in the Cup competitions as they are on the path of securing the knockout phase in the Europa League and have reached the Carabao Cup Semi-Finals, where they will face Liverpool.
Nottingham vs Tottenham pick: Nottingham to (AH 0) win
Nottingham are playing an absolutely great season so far, winning nine out of 17 Premier League games - 53%. And it seems they are only getting better as they stringed three wins against really good teams - Brentford, Aston Villa, and Manchester United.
Meanwhile, Tottenham have been inconsistent lately, winning just twice in the last eight matches. Their defense has collapsed in recent games, allowing six against Liverpool and three against Manchester United. One of the reasons behind it is the absence of some key defensive players.
At this moment, Nottingham (surprisingly) looks a lot better, and we believe they are closer to winning the upcoming Premier League game at the City Ground.

Nottingham team news
After a 2:0 win over Brentford, coach Nuno Espirito Santo spoke to the media. He said it was a good match but also noted Brentford caused them problems in the second half. "We are improving, becoming more mature in terms of control – overall, I think we had a decent performance," the coach added. The Portuguese coach added they hadn't achieved anything yet but should take pride in everything they've done so far.
The team should have no new injuries, but Ibrahim Sangare and Danilo, who missed the previous games with injuries, should remain sidelined.

Tottenham team news
After a disastrous 6:3 loss against Liverpool in the last round, coach Ange Postecoglou spoke to the media. He was unhappy with the loss and blamed their poor defensive performance on missing a goalkeeper, two center-backs, and a left full-back.
Guglielmo Vicario, Richarlison, Ben Davies, Wilson Odobert, Cristian Romero, and Micky van de Ven, who missed the previous games, should remain sidelined. On the positive side, Rodrigo Bentancur served his seven-game suspension and will be available.
