Nottingham Forest continue their pre-season preparations when they take on Sunderland at  Pinatar Arena Football Center.

Goals are usually on the menu when Nottingham Forest are involved, and we expect that pattern to continue this weekend. 

Going back to the end of last season, Forest have seen over 2.5 goals scored in seven of their last nine matches played since the start of April, including each of the last four.

Nuno Espírito Santo´s side kicked-off their pre-season preparations with a 3:0 win at Chesterfield last weekend and will be keen to maintain form as they head to South East Spain on Friday. That clean sheet was Forest´s first in 15 matches.

Sunderland began their own pre-season with a 2:1 loss at local rivals Gateshead last weekend and a reaction will be expected as the Wearsiders come into their second warm up contest. 

With any friendly fixture, high-stakes are never recommended but this game should prove competitive with chances at both ends. Forest rarely keep clean sheets but should also be expected to score against a Sunderland side operating at the Championship level. 

Sunderland have a good record in matches against Forest, claiming victory in six of their last eight encounters since 1998. Another competitive encounter is expected in neutral Spain this weekend.
