Norwich City will be looking to end their four match unbeaten run against Brighton when the two sides face off in the third of the FA Cup on Saturday afternoon.
The hosts have finally settled down in the Championship after a series of moves between the second tier and the Premier League between 2018-19 and 2022-23. Johannes Hoff Thorup's side have now failed to win promotion in successive seasons and that run looks set to continue this term, with the Cannaries currently outside the top ten.
Brighton have been in the top flight for eight successive seasons. The Seagulls made a blistering start to the 2024-25 campaign, winning their first three games by a combined score of 9-1, but that form faded off quickly. However, Fabian Hürzeler's side are a tough side to beat, having gone two games without losing to Arsenal this season and also secured victories over Man City and Tottenham Hotspur.
Norwich City vs Brighton Betting Tips: Brighton to win
Brighton may have failed to win their last eight games, conceding 13 goals in the process, but the Seagulls are capable of beating anyone on their day and their last two victories came away from the Amex.
Norwich City are growing in confidence after avoiding defeat in each of their last four games - three wins and a draw - but they don't have a great record in the FA Cup especially when playing in the second tier. The Canaries are winless in the last 16 FA Cup ties when playing in the Championship and I fancy they will extend that run this weekend.
- Best Tip: Away team to win
- Norwich City vs Brighton prediction: 1-2

Brighton team news
Brighton will remain without the services of Turkey professional Ferdi Kadıoğlu until at least April due to a toe joint capsular tear.
The Seagulls’ injury list also includes James Milner, Jack Hinshelwood, Danny Welbeck, Evan Ferguson , Mats Wieffer and Igor Julio who picked up a thigh injury last time out.
With his goal against Arsenal in the Premier League last time out, João Pedro has now made 10 direct goal contributions this season and should lead the line at Carrow Road this weekend.
