Norway's football team didn't have too much success in the last two decades. Actually, their last appearance at the major tournament was in 2000. The UEFA Nations League may not bring much, but it can be a good preparation for the upcoming World Cup qualifications. Norway started the Nations League with four points in September. First, they disappointed in Almaty against Kazakhstan (0-0), but three days later, Stale Solbakken's team won 2-1 at home against Austria. 

Matjaz Kek is doing wonders with the Slovenian national team. At the previous EURO, they were competitive in all matches but eventually lost in the 1/8 final on penalties against Portugal. Slovenia started the Nations League with four points from two matches. First, they drew 1-1 in Ljubljana against Austria and a few days later, Kek's team won 3-0 at home against Kazakhstan. Slovenia doesn't have a big quality in the team, but they once again showed how tough and well-organized they are.

Norway have Erling Haaland, but they scored only three goals in the last three matches. On the other hand, Slovenia scored only seven goals in the previous seven games. We should expect a low-scoring game between Norway and Slovenia on Thursday night.
