Nigeria will be looking to keep their hopes of winning a fourth title at the Africa Cup of Nations when they play Angola in the quarter-finals in Abidjan on Friday evening.
The Super Eagles made a slow start to the AFCON tournament, playing out a 1-1 draw with Equatorial Guinea, but successive 1:0 wins over the likes of Côte d'Ivoire and Gunea-Bissau secured them a place in the knockout stages. They caused Cameroon all sort of problems in the round of 16, winning 2-0, and will be hoping to repeat that performance on Friday.
Angola also began their AFCON campaign with a stalemate, playing out a 1-1 with the Algerians. The Antelopes then followed up with wins over Mauritania and Burkina Faso before beating Namibia 3-0 last time out to set up Friday's match.
Nigeria vs Angola Betting Tips: Angola to score at least one goal
The Nigerians may have been criticised for their lack of goals, but they have a very good defence. Nigeria go into Friday's game with a run of three consecutive clean sheets, and have conceded just three goals in their last nine games at the AFCON finals.
However, Nigeria's defensive record against the Angolans is not good as the Super Eagles have conceded at least one goal in each of the last three meetings between these two nations. Angola also boast one of the tournament's most dangerous attackers in Mabululu and Gelson Dala, who have already scored seven goals between them.

Nigeria team news
Victor Osimhen was instrumental in Nigeria's 2-0 win over Cameroon, setting up the first goal, and the Napoli striker will lead the line on Friday.
With his brace in this game, Ademola Lookman has now scored six goals for the Super Eagles and looks set to join Osimhen and Moses Simon in the final third.
Stanley Nwabili was forced off early in the game through injury, but reports suggest the goalkeeper will recover in time for Friday's game.

Angola team news
Gelson Dala is Angola's top scorer at this tournament with four goals and will be joined in the final third by Mabululu and Gilberto, who have four goals between them.
Neblú was penalised with a straight red card in the win over Namibia, meaning the goalkeeper will have to serve a suspension on Friday, but the Antelopes have no injuries.
