Nice will be looking to register their first home win of the 2024-25 French top flight campaign when they welcome Saint Etienne to Allianz Riviera on Friday evening.
We have yet to see Nice at their best this season. Les Aiglons began their campaign with an away defeat to Auxerre, a game in which they took the lead after just 21 minutes. Franck Haise's men responded well, taking four points from their next two games but they struggled again last weekend, losing 2-0 in Marseille.
Saint Etienne meanwhile are one of the new boys in this division. The visitors secured promotion through the play-offs after finishing third in Ligue 2, and life in the top flight was always going to be tough. Olivier Dall'Oglio's side began their 2024-25 campaign with three consecutive defeats, conceding seven goals and failing to score any but they will fancy their chances this week against Nice after beating Lille last weekend.
