Monaco have mostly been among the best teams in France for over a decade. Last year, they finished second but not even close to the eventual champs, PSG. This year could easily be the replay of the last one, considering they are in second place but 19 points away from the top spot. So, the title is totally out of the question, but since Monaco and four other teams are three points away, securing a top-three finish will definitely not be an easy task. Strasbourg are playing a fantastic season, with the potential to be one of their best ever. The Blue-and-Whites are sitting in sixth place with 50 points in 29 rounds. While sixth place is not something special, the fact that they are only three points away from second place and their next opponent, Monaco, definitely is. In the first part of the year, it didn't look like this season could be a special one for Strasbourg.
