After the international break, Ligue 1 is set for restart. In the eighth round, two in-form teams, Monaco and Lille, will face off against each other at Stade Louis II in Monaco.

In recent decade, Monaco were mostly in the top three teams. Last year, "The Red and Whites" finished second, but not too close to title, as PSG left them nine points behind. Still, they can surely be satisfied with such a season. This season, they continued with excellent performances and are currently at the top spot with 19 points after the serve round - two points above the reigning champs and main candidate for the title, PSG. They also impressed in the Champions League, winning four points in the first two rounds, and have every reason to be optimistic about their season.

Lille are also among the best teams in France in recent years. Last year, "The Mastiffs" finished fourth and had to go through the Champions League Qualifiers to secure the League (Group phase). They eventually secured it and are doing fine in the CL, as they won three points in the first two rounds. In the Ligue 1, Lille are 5th with 13 points from seven rounds. They had their ups and downs, but just before the international break, they went on a good streak, winning three in a row, including a game against Real Madrid in the CL.

Monaco vs Lille pick: Both teams to score

Monaco are playing great. They are undefeated in all nine games this season and have scored a goal in every single game this year, even scoring against really good teams like Barcelona, Lens, Rennes, etc... So, scoring at least a goal against anyone is totaly real scenario. Additionally, both teams scored in Monaco's last five games in all competitions.

Lille are also in really good form. They have won three in a row and have been excellent offensively in the last four matches, scoring nine goals - 2.25 per game.

Considering both teams' excellent forms and dominant offensive displays, we believe that both teams to score bet is the safest option for this Ligue 1 tie.
