On Thursday evening, two Scandinavian teams, Molde and Silkeborg, will face off in the second round of Europa League Qualifiers. The first leg will take place at Aker Stadion in Molde.
In recent several years, Molde have been either the best or the second-best team in Norway. However, that was not the case last year as they finished 5th - ten points away from European spots. Luckily, by winning the Cup, they salvaged the season and got the opportunity to play in the Europa League Qualifiers. Silkeborg, just like Molde, secured European Qualifiers by winning the domestic Cup. They weren't among the best teams in Denmark in recent years, and this will be only their second European appearance in the last 22 years! Against Molde, the bookies see Silkeborg as an underdog, offering odds of around 2.5 for them to reach the third round.

This year, Molde have been great for this type of bet, as they were 15 times over 2.5 goals in 20 games in all competitions - 75%. The main reason for their high-scoring games has been a really potent offense, especially at home. At Aker Stadion, Molde scored two or more goals in nine of ten matches in all competitions. So, two (or more) goals against Silkeborg are pretty realistic.

Midfielder Sondre Granaas will miss the upcoming game since he is on international duty with Norway U19. However, the young midfielder is only a backup option, and his absence shouldn't be a massive problem.
On the other hand, two important offensive players, Veton Berisha and Fredrik Gulbrandsen, should remain sidelined with their injuries.

Alexander Madsen, Fredrik Carlsen, Younes Bakiz, and Callum McCowatt, who missed the first game in the Danish Superliga and the pre-season, should also remain sidelined.
