- Venue: Stade Vélodrome (Marseille)
Last season, Marseille had a terrible season in Ligue 1 as they finished 8th and failed to secure Europe. Now, after focusing only on domestic competitions, "Les Phocéens" have returned to where it belongs, at least in our opinion. They are now in 2nd place with 55 points from 30 rounds but not that close to the PSG, which already secured the title. Marseille's goal has to be to secure a top-three finish and secure the Champions League (Group/League phase). Still, there are five teams very close, which could easily push them down, and they have to do well in the remaining four games.
Brest, on the other hand, came to this season after a fantastic one last year, where they finished third and secured the Champions League. And surprisingly, the popular Pirates reached the 1/16 Finals! However, in Ligue 1, they aren't at last season's level, and reaching Europe is almost impossible. Currently, they are in 9th place - seven points away from European spots with only four rounds to go.
Marseille vs Brest pick: Over 2.5 goals
With 62 scored goals in 30 rounds (2.07 per game), Marseille are the second-best offensive team in the league. Mainly due to a good offensive, they were over 2.5 goals in 20 out of 30 rounds - 67%. Only PSG had more games with three or more goals, but only one more. Additionally, Les Phocéens lately played exclusively high-scoring games, with their last five finished with three or more goals.
Brest have been fantastic for this bet lately and were over 2.5 goals in the last four matches. The Pirates truly improved offensively in recent matches, considering they scored at least a goal in seven out of the last eight matches and two or more in five out of those eight games! So, it is fair to expect at least one or two against Marseille, which failed to keep a clean sheet in the last six games.
In the first h2h game, Marseille won 5:1. Considering the previous h2h game, both teams' recent high-scoring games, and good offensive performances, we expect another high-scoring game, most likely with both teams scoring.

Marseille team news
In recent weeks, there has been a lot of speculation that coach De Zerbi will leave the club at the end of the season. However, now, we have different information and it seems the Italian coach will stay if they secure the Champions League next season.
Leonardo Balerdi, Ruben Blanco, Chancel Mbemba, and Amar Dedic, who missed the previous games with injuries, should remain sidelined.
