Last season, Marseille had a terrible season in Ligue 1 as they finished 8th and failed to secure Europe. Now, after focusing only on domestic competitions, "Les Phocéens" have returned to where it belongs, at least in our opinion. They are now in 2nd place with 55 points from 30 rounds but not that close to the PSG, which already secured the title. Marseille's goal has to be to secure a top-three finish and secure the Champions League (Group/League phase). Currently, they are in 9th place - seven points away from European spots with only four rounds to go.
