Manchester City have been a dominant force in England in the previous years, winning six titles in the last seven years. However, this season has been an absolute disaster as the Citizens are 6th in the Premier League with 31 points - 14 points away from the first-placed Liverpool, and with one game played more. Moreover, the Citizens were eliminated from the Carabao Cup in the 1/8 Finals and are struggling in the Champions League as well, considering they are in 22nd place with eight points in six rounds - just one point away from dropping out of the 1/16 Finals spots. The only good thing is that they finally stopped their winless streak with a win in the last game over Leicester (2:0).
West Ham had their ups and downs in recent years. From a team that battles for Europe and won the Conference League to a team that looks like a relegation candidate. This year, the Hammers were a fairly stable mid-table team, not good enough to compete for Europe but also not bad enough to be involved in a relegation battle. Currently, they are in 13th place with 23 points from 19 rounds, and even though there is a lot of football to be played, we believe this 13th place is a fair placement. We expect them to stay around these spots at the end of the season.

Since they will be without their key forward, Jarrod Bowen, we do not expect much from them offensively.
