In recent years, Mallorca have been in the mid or lower part of the league's table. Last year, the team from the Balearic Islands finished 15th, just seven points away from the danger zone. However, the start of this season has been fantastic as the Pirates hold the 6th place with 17 points, just one point away from the Champions League spots!
