Two sides enduring mixed fortunes collide in the National League on Tuesday with Aldershot hopeful of maintaining their fine winning form.

The visitors make the trip to Berkshire in high spirits following a fine 2:1 away victory against Altrincham over the weekend. Maxwell Mullins 88th minute goal secured a third win in five road games for the Shots. 

Up to 16th in the division, Aldershot have moved away from the relegation zone with a fine run of results which has seen them pick up five victories from seven previous National League fixtures. Tommy Widrington´s side now find themselves seven points clear of the relegation places.

Maidenhead return to York Road Stadium looking to build on a much-needed 2:0 win at Gateshead on Saturday. Shawn McClouskey´s late goal secured a first victory in six matches for the Magpies.

Despite that victory, Maidenhead find themselves still fighting to avoid the drop. Alan Devonshire´s side sit 19th in the division, just one point above the relegation zone. 

A particularly poor run of form in home matches has seen the Magpies lose four of their last five games at York Road Stadium, including a 1:0 defeat against Sutton United ten days ago.
