Luton Town will be looking to register their third straight home win when they welcome Norwich City to Park Hall on Wednesday afternoon.

At the beginning of the season, Luton Town were won of the favorites to be promoted to the top flight at the end of the 2024-25 campaign but things have not quite gone according to expectations. The Hatters boast just two wins from their last eight matches, losing five and drawing one. However, head coach Rob Edwards will take heart from the fact that both wins came at Park Hall.

Norwich City are having a similar season to that of Norwich City. The Canaries remained winless in five of their last six outings and also failed to score in as many games. Following the 2-1 win over Millwall on Boxing Day, they drew 1-1 win QPR last weekend and will be looking for a similar display against Luton Town on Wednesday.

One of Luton Town’s major weaknesses this season has been their defence. Indeed, only Plymouth Argyle have conceded more goals than Luton in the Championship this season and the hosts bring a run of six consecutive games without a clean sheet into Wednesday’s game. All their last two home games produced three goals and I expect Thursday’s game to end similarly.

Clean sheets have also been very rare for the Cherries, with Norwich City finishing just one of their last 15 matches without conceding. Three of the last four produced over 2.5 goals, which is another reason to expect goals in this game.
