Romania will be looking to maintain their 100% record in Group J of the 2024-25 Nations League campaign on Tuesday evening when they face Lithuania away.
Lithuania finished bottom of their group in the last Nations League and look set to do the same this time around. The Tricolours impressed on the opening day of the current campaign, losing by only one goal to Cyprus, but they flopped in the subsequent two games, shipping three goals against Romania on Match Day 2 and two against Kosovo last time out.
Romania meanwhile have responded well after finishing bottom of their group in the last Nations League campaign. El Tricolorii won all their three games so far, beating the likes of Kosovo, Lithuania and Cyprus. With their record against Lithuania in this competition also good, they will fancy their chances of making it four wins in a row on Tuesday.

It’s been four years since Lithuania last recorded a win in the Nations League. Edgaras Jankauskas’ side enter Tuesday’s game with a run of nine consecutive games in the competition without a win, losing eight and playing out one draw.
The Romanians are capable of outscoring any opponent on a good day. They scored exactly three goals in each of their last three outings but there are some lapses in their defence, with Mircea Lucescu’s side finishing just two of their last six encounters without conceding.
