Lecce will be looking for a win that could take them further away from the relegation zone when they play host to Como on Saturday afternoon.

The hosts are fortunate to still be above the relegation zone. Marco Giampaolo's side are without a win in nine games and suffered six defeats in that spell. However, the Yellow and Red will take heart from the fact that they have found the net in all but one of their last five games and have won two of their last three meetings with Como at this ground.

Como were surely the relegation favorites for many at the start of the season following their promotion from Serie B, but the visitors have disproved a lot of misconceptions. Cesc Fabregas' side sit 12 points above the relegation zone and avoided defeat in each of their last three games. Having secured back to back victories with their win over Torino last weekend, Como fans will have their eyes set on three straight wins for the first time this season this weekend.

Lecce vs Como Betting Tips: Under 2.5 goals

Lecce managed to score five goals in their last five league games, three of which ended with more than two goals, but the last few games of the hosts at the Stadio Comunale Via del Mare have been very close. The Giallorossi failed to score in three of their last five home games, with all but one of those encounters ending with under two goals.

Also the meetings between Lecce and Como don't have a history of producing many goals. Including Como's 2-0 win in December, the last five meetings have all ended with less than 2.5 goals and I expect this run to continue on Saturday.

  • Best Tip: Under 2.5 goals
  • Lecce vs Como prediction: 0-1
