Kilmarnock make their long-awaited return to the Europa League qualifiers when they take on Cercle Bruges at the BBSP Stadium Rugby Park.

Kilmarnock vs Cercle Bruges Betting Tips - BTTS

A superb domestic campaign saw Kilmarnock finish fourth in the Scottish Premiership, and with it, seal a return to European football for the first-time since 2019.

Under Derek McInnes, the Scots have built up an excellent record at Rugby Park, scoring 11 wins and recording just three defeats from their last 17 home fixtures.

Killie also enjoyed decent pre-season preparations, with big wins against TNS (5:0), Auchinleck Talbot (4:0) and Barrow (5:0) achieved in the past three weeks.

However, despite their strong performances in Ayrshire, McInnes´s men will be wary of the threat posed by their Belgian visitors.

Cercle make the trip to Scotland ready for their first European fixture since 2011. An excellent season in the Belgian First Division A saw Miron Muslic´s side finish fourth, securing their return to European competitions for only the fourth time in their history.

On the road, Bruges performed well last season, scoring impressive wins against Gent, USG and Antwerp. Four of their last six away fixtures saw BTTS, and considering Kilmarnock´s strong home form, that outcome could present the best betting option on Thursday.

With both sides yet to kick-off their domestic campaign, it's difficult to draw too many conclusions ahead of this fixture, but I do expect both teams to score at Rugby Park.

By no means a banker selection, I'm putting my faith in both teams finding the net in Ayrshire.
